I hope that everyone is enjoying this Easter Sunday. It’s been a couple of YEARS since we have felt good about gathering as families due to pandemic restrictions (whether imposed or voluntary). The sun is shining here in Scarborough, Maine and the temperature is a brisk 45 degrees. Easter was always a big deal growing up. We would get dressed in very formal clothes and go to church in all of our finery. Maybe because I don’t go to church anymore, I don’t get that same sense of it being a “holiday.” Oh well, our neighbors across the street have invited us over for Easter dinner later this afternoon and that gives us something to look forward to.
